Technical Writing and Creative Writing Seminar-Workshop
 A two-day seminar-workshop on English Proficiency was successfully conducted on December 9-10, 2010
at the ASL Gymnasium Conference Room, Gingoog City. The expertise of Mr. Custodio M. Bagsican,
a retired English Professor at Xavier - Ateneo de Cagayan University was tapped by the City Government to re-tool employees, particularly the information and administrative officers, on the proper usage and application of the English language. A total of 40 participants graced the said activity.

Gingoog City Bags “Cleanest and Greenest Component City” Award
 Gingoog City once again emerged as 1st Placer in the recently concluded 2010 “Gawad Pangulo sa Kapaligiran (GPK)” Provincial Search - Component City Category. With a rating of 95.14% the city topped rival El Salvador, which garnered an 87.48%, in a search conducted on October 5, 2010 to November 10, 2010. Gingoog City will now vie for the Regional Award along with the other component cities in Region X. |
