Technical Writing and Creative Writing Seminar-Workshop
A two-day seminar-workshop on English Proficiency was successfully conducted on December 9-10, 2010 at the ASL Gymnasium Conference Room, Gingoog City. The expertise of Mr. Custodio M. Bagsican, a retired English Professor at Xavier - Ateneo de Cagayan University was tapped by the City Government to re-tool employees, particularly the information and administrative officers, on the proper usage and application of the English language. A total of 40 participants graced the said activity. |

Gingoog City Bags “Cleanest and Greenest Component City” Award
Gingoog City once again emerged as 1st Placer in the recently concluded 2010 “Gawad Pangulo sa Kapaligiran (GPK)” Provincial Search - Component City Category. With a rating of 95.14% the city topped rival El Salvador, which garnered an 87.48%, in a search conducted on October 5, 2010 to November 10, 2010. Gingoog City will now vie for the Regional Award along with the other component cities in Region X. |
