A develop 76-hectare Da’ GROVE AT GINGOOG HIGHWAY 955, the city-owned new tourism development located at Sitio Civoleg, Barangay Lunotan, Gingoog City.
As disclosed by Gingoog Mayor Erick G. Cañosa during the recent 60th Charter Day celebration, the said development will cover two areas – a livestock and production area and the Gingoog City Agricultural Tourism Park which will have the following amenities:

OOLONG TEA PLANTATION
Misamis Oriental lays claim to the first and the only Oolong Tea plantation in the whole country which is located in Barangay Kalagonoy in Gingoog City. The Camellia sinensis tea trees in this plantation are planted, maintained, and processed by the Higaonon tribal communities of the area as part of the sustainable livelihood program of the government.
Oolong is a process of developing tea tree leaves into a variation of tea between black and green. It is most famously marketed to be served as the popular milktea and is also known to sharpen thinking skills and improve mental alertness. To achieve the unique and delicate taste of Oolong tea, the tea trees have to be planted in high mountain areas such as those in Misamis Oriental that can sustain the cold temperature needed to process the tea leaves.
When we can travel together again, come with us to the mountains of Gingoog City and enjoy a nice warm cup of Region 10’s very own Oolong Tea.

Da' BAY
Da’ Bay used to be called as the Pahayahay sa Pantalan. The wharf is called Promenade by the Bay that used to serve as a pier where flat-bottomed boats used to land. Locals and tourists alike visit the place to relax and hangout with friends. This is also where one can enjoy the relaxing sunset view. There is more development being done to Da’ Bay for everyone’s enjoyment. We can also find the Children’s Park, a recreational area for kids located at Da Bay which will be open everyday from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM with daily disinfection schedule from 1:00PM to 2:30PM.
TIKLAS FALLS
Upon travelling to Misamis Oriental, you should not miss the wonderful tourist destinations that will captivate you. One of the best spots that you should not skip is the Tiklas falls, located in Barangay Lawit, Gingoog City. The destination has been developed as an Eco-Tourism Park, thanks to the city government of Gingoog.
The city of Gingoog is 122 kilometers east of Cagayan de Oro City and 74 kilometers west of Butuan City. It is bounded on the west by the town of Medina; on the south by the town of Claveria; on the north by Gingoog Bay; and on the east by the town of Magsaysay. It is politically subdivided into 79 barangays. The city is popular for Tiklas Falls, Mt. Lumot and Badiangong Beach.
The main and most well-known tourist attraction in Gingoog City is the Tiklas Falls. It is one of the reasons why Gingoog is known as the “City of Waterfalls’ because of the numerous waterfalls that it have. The waterfall is located 13 kilometers away from the city proper. It is said that the city has over 30 waterfalls that one needs to pass forested and remote areas before seeing them.
Tiklas Falls has a powerful body of water that dash up to 50 feet from the cliff. Tourists and visitors will surely enjoy seeing the enchanting waterfall. They can also have their picnic here with the waterfall as the backdrop. Before reaching the falls, you need to trek for about 15 minutes on a trail that is muddy and rocky.
Like other tourist attractions, the area near the waterfalls has also been developed as a resort (which is part of the eco-tourism program of the city government of Gingoog) where one can enjoy swimming in a pool. Cottages are also available for rent for tourists and excursionists which cost around Php 200.

CHRIST THE KING SHRINE
Faith tourism in Misamis Oriental. Christ The King Shrine can be found in Barangay Samay, Gingoog City. The religious complex, founded and owned by Rev. Fr. Ruthenberge Develos, includes a 60-foot statue of Christ The King. The complex is approved by the Department of Tourism and is also acknowledged by the Misamis Oriental Government as a religious tourist spot.

MT. BALATUKAN
Mount Balatukan is a massive, potentially active, compound stratovolcano in the northern island of Mindanao, Philippines. It is the highest point in the province of Misamis Oriental. The volcano has no historical eruptions but displays fumarolic activity.
