Recent Awards and Recognitions

  • National Citation as National Qualifier for Consistent Regional Outstanding Winner in Nutrition (CROWN) Maintenance Award
  • City Government of Gingoog 120th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary 5S Competition BRONZE AWARD

Highlights on 2020 Programs and Projects

  • Approved 3 Million Budget under the 20% Development Fund to complete MCP(Birthing Facility) Brgy  Kalipay and Brgy. San Miguel. (For Implementation this year)
  • Repair and renovation of old CHO building roofing amounting 1.6 Million
  • Increased honorarium for BHW and BNS from 1,300 to 2,000 per month.
  • Additional 110 BHWs to augment the existing 350 BHWs for the entire Gingoog.
  • Increased budget for Anti Rabies Program from 377,000.00 to 1.030.000.00. This is to increase the number of anti-rabies vaccines. 
  • Purchase of Service Vehicle for City Health Office (Ford Ranger)
  • Additional Medical Equipment for laboratory (Hematology Machine), this is to increase laboratory service capacity.
  • Increased budget for Person with Disability Program from 30,000.00 to 500,000.00. this is to provide ample budget for all activities that will address various needs of our person with disabilities.
  •  Allocated 3,010,000.00 budget for Senior Citizen Program. This is for the purchase of Medicines.  

On Covid 19 response

  • Establishment of City Isolation Facilities for COVID 18 Response at Barangay Pangasihan and Barangay San Juan. These facilities are DOH approved
  • City Isolation Unit Pangasihan is the designated Ligtas COVID Center of Gingoog City. It has 15 beds capacity designed to cater asymptomatic confirmed positive and mild cases.
  • Establishment of Isolation Facilities for frontliners situated at Barangay San Juan. The old Badiagon Training Center was renovated to become a COVID 19 isolation unit.
  • Hotels and Resorts in Gingoog were utilized by LGU as quarantine facilities for all our returning OFWs.
  • Public schools in Gingoog City were utilized by the LGU as quarantine facilities for Locally Stranded Individuals. 
  • Holding and Triaging Area with Rapid Diagnostic Testing Booth was established at CIU Pangasihan this is to facilitate efficient triaging and testing procedures.
